    Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
    Virtual item type involved: [None] No items

    Accused profile: 76561198141433857

    Victim profile: 76561198052552372

    What happened? Description:
    An account (Sir SLACKS) messaged me, saying they were involved in a scam by someone impersonating me. They said they reported my profile and were sorry and said they knew someone who could help.
    This other person (Kael) claims to be from the Valve Support and says that unless I click a link or screenshot my purchase history, I will get banned.​

    This is NOT the first user you should be reporting - You basically reported the other user that was brought into the scam event. You must make sure from now on you report the FIRST user you were contacted by and who started the scam..you only need to reference any other accounts involved and describe HOW they were involved in the description by including the FULL SR profile block along with details of how they were involved.
    Also include any and all FULL screenshots you have as evidence.
    Please do not resubmit a new report - this one will do for now.

    @Pootis Spencer Hir I need the ID64 of that other account asap! I also need to know how long you've known them AND if you've reported BOTH accounts to Valve yet?

    I reported Kael because he is the one impersonating Valve Support and I found it to be the greater offence. That is also why i have filed this report as Impersonation.
    I also have only reported him to Valve.
    The ID64 of Sir SLACKS is 76561198246468840
    I will also report his account to Valve.

    Sir SLACKS has sent me a friend request and started messaging me on the 30th of January 2020 out of the blue.
    He send me the account of Kael.
    I have not known either of them at all.

    Just for clarity, they are not impersonating anyone I know, but rather I suspect Kael of impersonating Valve Support.

    Ok, now I have also reported Sir SLACKS

    Ok I will monitor report a few days to see if Valve reacts to them..this is a VERY common thing for hijacked accounts. Nearly 99.999% of all reports we get are like this so to avoid additional hardship upon the accounts we try to avoid tagging them and won't if Valve community bans them.
    Nothing more needed - no need to post again. Will observe accounts a while.

    Accepting only on the accused - the other account was clearly hijacked and community banned by Valve.
