    Scam Report

Report Type: [Gambling] Fake gambling website
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198141611832

    Victim profile: 76561198085036884

    What happened? Description:
Attempted Scam from a fake case opening website. I got a friend request from a reputable account so i accepted, I thought they wanted to trade or Q together in cs. The person waited a few days before confronting me. It Started out by offering a promo code, it was believable so as a good person I said sure why not. When I got to the site the promo code gave me 2.99 usd enough for a classified case. So I go a spin and won a Hot rod skin. But in order to take my skin there was a catch I had to deposit 30 Usd in skins before I could withdraw the hot rod. So at this point I was a little suspicious. I continued by looking for a reputation for the site, but found none. Therefore I could only assume since there were so many case openings there had to be a reputation. So at this point I was sure that the site was a scam. Afterwards I continued to talk to the guy for fun and expose him further. And that was my encounter with the scammer. Lucky no skins were lost but hopefully this guy doesn't get anymore chances to scam other people.
