What happened? Description:

This person is attempting to impersonate Randinie Grey Beard (Real Steam64: 76561197976466907). They added me and started off by asking if I wanted to sell my unusual, I replied yes and to shoot me an offer. They then asked to add me on discord (this is the exact point I realized it was a scam and searched for the real Randinie's steam profile). I kept playing along to see how exactly they were going to attempt to scam me. From this point the conversation is on discord. After accepting the friend request on discord they start off by asking if they can call, I say sure and once in the call they show their screen. Pictured in the screen shots is the fake looking at the real Randinies backpack in an effort to "prove legitimacy". He then sends a screenshot of a Randinie backpack.tf page. I then bring up that there is a "steam glitch" and for "whatever reason" his level is only showing up as 10 on the steam profile instead of the normal level 111 and that his 14 year steam member badge has been replaced with a 5 year member badge. They then quickly unfriend (and I assume block) me on discord and steam. Provided are screenshots of the Steam conversation, Discord conversation and Profile screenshots (private vs not private inventory).​
