What happened? Description:

I was on a trading server and got a friend request of a guy named "Jarrod". He tells me he is interested in one of my items. He asks me if I know how to check the prices of items, I myself found his account already fishy and acted like I didn't knew how to properly check prices of items. He then links me this website named csgoplat (scam site) and tells me that he uses that website to base the items their prices. He ask me if I can go onto the website to check it out and log in on it. I knew if I would log into the website with Steam he would get into my account and steal my items. Then I said I would get my phone to log into the website which I didn't because I did not want to get scammed. So I waited a bit for him to response to me, then he ask me if I could check the website skinmid (another scam site). I said no I already checked csgoplat which I didn't. He sees I didn't log into csgoplat and tells me if I try to troll him it is not gonna work. I tell him to give me a proper offer and doesn't response to it. I had enough of this scammer and I told him that he is the worst scammer I have ever seen and says f✿✿✿ you to me after that he blocks me. Even tough I was harsh to him in the end and didn't meant to be mean to him. I apologize for saying harsh things to him.​

His inventory was private and in his profiles bio he linked a inventory of a other guy named "Jarrod" who he was impersonating.

Thanks for your report, I've passed this onto an admin to review. However this isn't because of the attempted phishing attempt, but for the impersonation of another user. I've uploaded the necessary evidence to show this and in the future, if you come into contact with a user trying to impersonate someone else, I recommend you get this evidence yourself.
