What happened? Description:

I put up a trade offer on csgolounge when the accused added me to begin trading. At the time of the even he was under the alias chroma. Firstly he offered me paypal but would not agree on any conditions i set which seemed safe to me. He then insisted on steam wallet code to the value of $150.

Basically after a lengthy conversation with Chroma he insisted on using a middleman which could be hired or one of my friends. i agreed to have my friend as the middleman.

I was in teamspeak with such friend and were well aware of a possible scam. unfortunately alot of the conversation was closed when i had multiple chat windows opening/closing.

He got me to invite my friend into conversation were he started private conversations with both myself and my friend.

He then pushed the point i must trade the item to my friend when i agreed... A trade invite came from my friend (his name and avatar). When i asked my friend in teamspeak if he invited me he said no. I viewed my friends profile from trade window to see a random private profile.
At that point i was surprised and confident we caught him out. This happened so fast and if we were not in teamspeak i would have lost $150.

I will upload screen shots i have including the fake profile he used in impersonating my friend to complete the fraud attempt​
