    Scam Report

Report Type: [Item Fraud] Quick-switch trade scam or attempt
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198148584577

    Victim profile: 76561198082301843

    What happened? Description:
This person added me to trade my items that I had recently advertised for trade, they're the few that actually comment on my profile to , I did my usual checks on him, going here and a few other places to see if he's an actual trader, no red flags rose except for the fact that his inventory was private. I was unable to get screenshots of the initial conversation, but he agreed to trade 35 keys for my Terror-Watt Hotties Hoodie, my Head Prize, and my Victory Lap taunt, to where he sent me to a website called steam-items.com which asked for my login. Upon further inspection, the login only takes my api key, and none of my account information. I believe that website was the reason he was able to quickswitch the trade that happened later. He requested to use a friend as someone, and already suspicious, i sent the items to my little brother's account, 69watken, where he wasn't online for 80 days before that. Suddenly, once i got to my phone, the mobile authenticator bugged, making me investigate the trade offer. I saw 2 trade offers, the one I sent, and the other that was made by some impersonator. After that, I caught on, and didn't continue with any of his requests. I left unscathed with all my items, I even reset my password and api key for safety, but I saw that on his backpack.tf profile, he had a suspicious rise in inventory price around november 20th, leading me to believe he'd already got to someone before me, unfortunately.
