What happened? Description:

He wanted to trade a knife with me using a middleman. I contacted on of my friends which took took care of the knife. I gave him my friend's profile and they added eachother. He then added my friend to a group chat with another guy making himself out to be me asking for the knife back (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198150355930). His friend is already banned on steamrep, but as he had my profile pic and name my friend didn't notice at first. He gave the knife to him and then they started asking for more items , but as we declined they both disappeared. His buddy even tried to make himself out to be my friend to give him items to show that hes trustworthy.

His scamming buddy is already banned, but they should both be banned permanently for working together.​

Sry, but I used gyazo to take the screenshots so I didn't think about that. I can give a screenshot of my friend's trade history in full-screen as soon as he comes online showing how he gave the knife to his fake middleman. With that many reports already he should already be banned though, just as his impersonating friend is.

This person has just tried to scam me the same way. I'll be making a report.

I accidentally closed our convo when he deleted me. With 6+ reports on this guy for the same attempts with screenshots from all reports I'm not quite sure how this guy is still able to trade.
