    What happened? Description:
    Well i put my unususal Stormy Storm Connoisseur's Cap on bptf for sale MONEYMONEY added me and we talked and made offers on my unusual and i didnt suspect much, that was my first mistake he went to talk about dupes and then his middle man came up and I felt pressured to do the trade and didn't check either profile before making the trade and lo and behold both profiles upon later inspection were pretty big scammers. I thought it was legit and that he seemed like he was a decent trader but I was so very wrong please don't make the same mistakes I did check their profiles and everything, DO NOT BUY INTO THE DUPED STUFF people like this are straight up class A scumbags. Stay safe and for gods sake check their profiles or you will get scammed and never EVER believe in a middle man​

    Provide Evidence:
    The copied transcript was from the fake pope middle man i was unable to capture a screen shot of those as i had clicked off the window messages but i did copy and paste them to a friend who did help me with gathering my info and sending me here he does not want to be named and his name has been excluded from this chat log
    the unusual stormy storm Connoisseur's Cap is the item that i lost and i am unable to view it as it is in a private inventory

    Thanks - do keep in mind that this user is already banned/tagged..there isn't any more we can do to this user. Should you come across a user like this again it is best to just report them to Valve, delete and move on.
    The issue here though is there is not enough evidence in what you provided to prove a scam was in progress or happened.
    You can report user to Valve either way.

    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
