    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198154893613

    Victim profile: 76561198078746975

    What happened? Description:
I was just looking to trade my item in CSGO ( Bayonet Scorched Well-Worn) when this guy added me, he was level 11 and had a lot of +reps on his profile so I thought he wasn't a scammer. He told me that he was recently "scammed" and said he lost 100 keys. I asked him what happened and he said that there's a thing called glitchy items, they disappear when traded to another player, stupid me believed. He told me I should trade him to my friend, so he can make sure. My friend's name is Abused Slave http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198062046466/ Then the scammer, or his friend had an account with my name and picture, sent my friend a steam trade and then my friend gave the knife not knowing it wasn't me.

On the first screenshot, that was when he added me and there was already a hint of suspicion, but I wasn't quite sure, so I went on with it.
On the second screenshot, he explained to me about the glitchy item, to me it appeared strange but we continued to talk.
The 3rd and 4th screenshot was when he asked me to get my friend, so he would know that it's a real item.
In the 5th SS we were only discussing the price.
In the 6th screenshot, that was when I was scammed, I was mad so I trashtalked a bit, but he said sorry, and he said it was for his school expenses. So he admitted that he was the scammer. The screenshot named TradeSS was when I traded my knife to my friend and Friend's Trade SS was when he traded it to the guy, the scammer changed his name of course, so it appears to be Jale.

By the way, I didn't know that Trade Ban he had was from Steamrep, because I got a tradeban before because of my repeated use of the credit card. I fell to his trap. I hope this can be answered soon.
