    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198156332886

    Victim profile: 76561198164593996

    What happened? Description:
I received a message from the user telling me he'd like to buy my tf2 keys since i was selling them on the steam market.
He told me he was gonna pay 2.5$ each because he didn't want to wait 7 days for them to be tradeable.
I believed him thinking that if he needed them now and had the cash for it, he didn't care much for overpaying, and in the moment it sounded too good to be true.
He blocked me,but i took screenshots before closing the chat window. (insert big brain meme here)

    Provide Evidence:
    Initial contact:
View attachment 741055 Redirecting me to his main account (the one i'm reporting): View attachment 741058
Agreement broken (given invalid payment and got blocked)
    View attachment 741063
    Already reported him to valve!

@Big Brown Neighbour You do realize this user has been banned/tagged here for almost 2 years now right? Not sure why you didn't check the user out better BEFORE you added them or accepted a friend request....this could have been avoided.
Check users out better in the future and just ignore/delete them to avoid that situation.
This report is however INVALID since its dealing with a product code and we do not review those reports due to policy.

Either way there wasn't anything more we could have or can do to them here anyway.
Report them to Valve instead if you like.
In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT

Click here to view an animated gif that shows how to report a violation.
