What happened? Description:

The scammer added the victim from a trade server saying he was going to pay real money for his unusual. The scammer then proceeded to send the victim a trade offer saying that the money woudld go through after the trade is accepted. This is an obvious scam but as newer traders may fall for it i think it should still be at least acknowledged. The victim told me this through a trade server and sent me the proof listed below.​

• Proof of the initial trade agreement (e.g. steam chat screenshot)

The scammer attempting to convince the victim that the money would go straight to his wallet. And the conversation after the offer was sent.

• Proof of the broken agreement or scam attempt (e.g. inventory history screenshot, disconnect without exchange, or paypal screenshots)

The offer itself with the text i mentioned in the descrpition.

• Proof that you verified the identity of the person (e.g. screenshot after clicking user's name from inventory history, or loading their profile from the chat discussion)

Can you please provide the screenshot of the trade offer uncropped? And can you take it from the webpage with your cursor hovering over his name so that the steam link appears in the bottom left.

Also, for future reports we need the Steam URL showing at the top of all screenshots taken in the steam client, a section of this guide: https://forums.steamrep.com/threads/screenshot-guide-requirements.157969/ shows you how to enable it.

i hope this is what you meant, i took 2 screenshots just in case, one in steam and one in chrome
