What happened? Description:

He added me out of nowhere, wanting to buy my ususual hat. He posted a link to the backpack of the guy I linked above, and now I understood it was a scam, and decided to play along. I said he could buy it for 18 keys and sent a trade link, but he didn't respond. Instead he wanted me to contact a "Active Community Fraud Prevention Director" to make sure the items weren't duped. I added the so called director, and was put in a group chat. He then sent a trade offer link to a fake steam item bot, and asked me to send a trade offer with the hat, on the premise that the bot would only check that item and the items would never leave my inventory. I sent a cheap cosmetic case and outed myself.​

^It appears the second supposed human account is gone, although the fake system database is still up. Am I able to access chats after I am no longer friends with a person? Can't seem to do so.
