What happened? Description:

I was on a trade server trying to sell an unusual item for just over 6 keys. This person offered to trade me a strange festive knife (worth 6 keys) as well as 1 Mann Co. Supply Crate Key. I thought this would be a good offer. He initiated trading with me several times, and the trade offer seemed not to work. i tried sending him the trade a couple of times, but he did not accept these trades. Eventually, he sent me one trade in the end which did work, but he'd swapped out the Strange festive knife(worth 6 keys) for a strange festivized knife(worth 6 refined), which looks nearly identical.​

Provide Evidence:

I provided the chat logs, as well as pictures of the trades that he sent, and the one that I sent through steam.

He changed his name while I was typing this up.​

Do you have a Steam chat trade discussion about this because it seems you didn't provide that?

The only chat records I have are from the normal steam chat. Negotations were done in the very first steam chat menu which I didn't screenshot. If this means that there isn't enough evidence that this person actually scammed me, I implore you to consider why three separate reports have come in within a few days about this person doing the same type of scam, with the same items.

The other reports have nothing to do with this, reports are processed and reviewed individually here and they need to have acceptable and valid evidence so we can proceed. You don't have the formal trade agreement or discussion about the trade you described in the report and in the provided Steam mobile chat screenshots there's nothing indicating of any agreement which is crucial to a report like this.

Unfortunately since you didn't provide a formal trade agreement or discussion about the trade I will have to decline this report based on that.
