What happened? Description:

A user by the name of SPICEY
Offered to purchase my Sport Gloves Vice Minimal Wear for $2150 PayPal

He waited 8 days and refused to give them back, insisted he sent the money when I had received no emails or notifications from PayPal
He scammed me and blocked me right after I asked for them back

Basically TLDR
He said his PayPal was having problems and that they limited his account because it was such a big transaction. I knew something was fishy about this right here
He then told me that they banned his account and proceeded to beg me not to report him, that I would ruin his trading reputation.

A few days pass he mentions he is getting it sorted out and they would send the payment to me automatically, which is weird cause he just said his account was banned? PayPal doesn't lift bans on accounts, and they hold the funds in the account for 120 days and then release them to the owned bank account, I know, I have a business account.

Upon telling him that I was tired of waiting, it had been 8 days and I hadn't gotten any money whatsoever, He kept saying
"I'm not giving them back because you already got the money for it."
Which I did not as you can see in the screenshots shown below:

This money was going to change my life, it was going to pay off all my debts and fix my credit and allow me to start my streaming career, and it was all ruined because I wasn't careful enough and because this guy had nothing better to do with his time except scam me.​

Scammers from reddit:RYDE - will try to buy it for cash,this guy is from philiphines,saying hes from usa or dubai. I was talking with him for weeks,I know what is he doing.MDOX - saying hes interesed in buying,telling he wants to use middleman if u dont want to go first-he will link a fake subreddit on reddit and there is his friend as a ADMIN.M0on8th - one of the richest scammers,saying he will buy it for cash,never sending cash. 320level on steam,scammed over 50k - thats what people sayingeBrilliant - guy who was scamming people for skins of tf2/csgo- he was pretending to be server admin to request item payment.
Many other people with small inventory like one or two knives whos saying they will buy your gloves for over 3000usd
People whos saying they will send you cash first,they have hijacked paypal accounts,they will send it with buyer protection,they will chargeback cash if they even have the 3000usd first.
