What happened? Description:

SOME EXTRA NOTES -
1. The guy does not seem to be very smart to change his name, therefore it may be best to not alert him with any messages.

2. I did NOT get the items back, however I did send out a scam report to Steam Support.

3. I got my account back.

He had made pretend he was an admin who said that I was subject to a ban because I was "duping" (lie) items.

I thought he was real because:
1. I bought multiple scrap and items that have been added to my inventory already
(was looking for cheap deals on trades and such - marketplace.tf and tradeit.gg)

2. The guy actually made a well made GIF showing he had access to developer tools on MY account. I didn't get a picture of it BUT I know a witness and other victim who do.

The messages that I was sent (my friend got the same messages) were -

(These messages were sent by a hacked account in order to set up the scam)

(P.S - Sorry about replacing the other user's name, but as I said, the user's account was stolen, and without their permission, the name will NOT be uploaded)

2. The person who their account tried to message me in hopes of stoping me from sinking further into the scam (the user got their account back through steam support)

(Chat history with the fake quote-on-quote "Admin" is gone but I know someone who got messaged by the same guy WITH the same messages)

If any PayPal receipts need to be submitted or any other receipts from the websites I bought some of my items from they will sent to.

(Transactions from tradeit.gg)

(Recent transactions on Steam Market - Had to order the items I wanted on there because marketplace.tf took longer to deliver my items - I was trying to build up and mod a killstreak Air Strike rocket launcher)

Yeah, and scammed me too. Double whammy sadly :/
