What happened? Description:

Suspect added me randomly, asking to trade with me. The individual offered me nearly double what the item was worth. The item in question was an Unusual Towering Pillar of Hats, with the effect Stormy Storm. The Suspect ask for trade links, etc. but then told me that he needed a middleman to "check if the item was glitched". I sent the individual the history of the item, he continued to persist. Eventually, I told the individual that I knew he was trying to scam me, at which point the suspect removed and blocked me on Steam.​
