    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198164651434

    Victim profile: 76561198253752517

    What happened? Description:
A person named Krallzy attempted to scam me through opskins.com. He added me yesterday around 3 am. He said he wanted to make an offer for my Unusual Soviet Strongarm and my Strange cat Pajamas for 60 keys. This was all on steam. And from there that's the only part of the conversation on Steam I screenshotted. He then asked for my discord, and he said that he would guide me through opskins.com so we can trade/sell there. I accepted his discord and from there we got in a call. I shared my screen and he told me how to sign up for the site and everything. For my unusual, he said to "click your unusual and put 99999 on the list price so no one can buy it and after that click NEXT And dont click deposit bro ok". I asked him "what is this doing", and he never told me. He asked me if I have a mobile. I said yeah, I have a phone. He then told me that there should be a trade from opskins.com, a bot.

Now when I checked the trade, there was a "bot" from opskins.com. It was called Bot #0783. Now opskins has a steam group for it's bots, here https://steamcommunity.com/groups/opskins-bots. I checked every individual bot, and it's name wasn't there. It wasn't a part of the group. I started to get angry and I asked him why a fake bot tryed to trade me. I showed him everything with screenshare. He specifically said "nO" and "wTF". I threatened to block and report him, and he blocked me on Discord and Steam.

So that's the most of it. Sadly I lost a small portion of the conversation, which was about adding on discord.

After writing most of this, I found that the bot used to attempt the scam had a trade offer url in it https://steamcommunity.com/tradeoffer/new/?partner=400237557&token=P_LIdc0I.

When I clicked on it I got led to a profile, info pasted below.
    | steamname: keys TRADEIT.GG

    Provide Evidence:
Steam.png is the inital trade agreement. This is mostly what we agreed on.
Discord1.png to Discord3.png is when the agreement broke.
    Steamtrade.png is the scam attempt.

I thought I should post the profile on the trade url linked by the bot. On the picture tradeit.png

    Hello @Free_ ,

Without the chat on Steam, theres nothing we can do unfortunately, as we don't accept Discord chats. As such I will have to archive this. In future, keep all agreements and important discussions on Steam.

    Thanks for the report nevertheless.
