    Accused profile: 76561198165249595

    Victim profile: 76561198080424757

    What happened? Description:
At around 8:30- 8:40 pm Eastern Time zone, a steam user approached me and ask if I was interested in selling my Black Paint for 10 USD. I ask user how would he or she would transfer the 10 USD to me. The user replied through steam wallet cash and at that moment I knew it would be a scam. I have proof through screenshots for more information. Please mark this Steam User as scammer or whatever to prevent other users in Steam from becoming possible scam victims.

Also, this "Transfer steam wallet cash" is an obvious scam because there is no possible way to transfer steam wallet cash over to other people accounts. Not only was he not willing to go first but he was very reluctant when I ask for a middle man.

Technically there is a way which would be through steam codes did you wait to ask him how you would transfer money?

The user was offering steam wallet codes which can be used...however in this report there is no clear cut point in which shows he was going to scam you, just looked as if you were both bouncing back and forth on who was going to go first and who to trust who.
I'm archiving this on those grounds - had he given you a code it would have made the report invalid anyway as we don't accept reports dealing with game codes/cd keys/ etc.. had you given him items and he ran without giving you a code at all then maybe that would have been something however then you would have lost out...sad to say you just have to go to that point to prove someone isn't legit.
