What happened? Description:

My friend has been trying to trade his Huntsman Case Hardened FT Knife and AWP Hyperbeast FT with a Butterfly Knife the whole day of 26th September 2015. Somewhere around 15 past 00:00 , 27th September 2015, a guy sends him a friend request telling him he's going to give him a Butterfly Crimson Web FT for his two items, but when he checks his inventory, there's no knife. The scammer asked my friend if he has some friend on steam who can be trusted to hold the items for him and that's how my steam name came in. I got online asap for my friend, and that scammer added me too and asked me too search on CSGOLounge and on OPSkins for a knife so he can buy and to complete the trade.. Meanwhile, the scammer took my profile picture, changed his name into mine and he added my friend and his alt account in a steam conversation. My friend thought that that's my account and he accepted to make the trade with that account, which had my profile picture and my steam name. Of course, after that the items vanished into nowhere and the guy unfriended me and my buddy.

Also, I've been checking the scammer's account on SteamREP and I found that he has multiple banned accounts here and banned by Valve too. (trade and VAC).. He has 1 banned friend (steamID64: 76561198202465148 ) which has the exact same steam profile as him. If you look at this account too, you can see there is an alternate account which has been banned too for scamming and that account has another alternate account banned and so on.

He used the middleman method, took profile, info, name, country.. everything and used him as a middleman, one of the guys i know on steam. Wierd.

same method over here, he tried pretty hard to scam. said i should send him offer without getting anything back
