What happened? Description:

So I was playing a game of competitive when a guy, all friendly asked me to add him. Didn't seem suspicious or anything since we were winning by a fair margin, it was a pleasant game. So I added him, after the game I invited him to play but he said he had to go and that he would play the next day, so I left him there. About 5-10 minutes later I get a message from my "friend" asking to borrow my knife, he says he just wants to see it, just for 10 minutes, I told him I wouldn't trade it due to its price, so he started getting desperate asking for other items to "borrow", just for 10 minutes. I say no again and ask why he wants to borrow the items at which point he gets aggressive and desperate even more asking for less and less. At which point I realised It wasn't my friend (as I have given all my friends nicknames my friends list). Checked his profile and sure enough it was the person from my last game. He sent me multiple trade offers during this time and for a while I believed him but I was never going to give him anything in the first place. His name at the time of playing was "hej jag e svensk" before he changed it to "Kyle ♥™."

Something I didn't notice until now was that he didn't copy my friends name exactly, he accidentally added a full stop at the end, you can see this in the chat and on his profile under his other names.​

Forgot to mention if you cannot see it my friend in the side by side screenshot is on the left, the impersonators messages stop after I sent him "Adam ♥™: Nice try my friend, except i use nicknames on my friends... ? So dont message me again ☻"

Also if you look at his other names you can see them all from the screenshots, he changed his name pretty quickly after he found out he was caught.
