What happened? Description:

I joined a CS:GO Deathmatch game.
Black Santa was randomly in the same deathmatch as me, using voice chat to advertise 2 x $100 steam wallet codes.
I added him to check out the deal, obviously cautious of a cash scam.
He explained that he had a community ban that somehow only restricted market trades without restricting trades. (I am not aware of any such type of ban).
We went back and forth, with myself asking him for proof of legitimacy.
During this process, I caught him lying/providing me with signs that he was scamming 7 or 8 times.
Because of this, I did not fully trust him, so I proposed that we could still go through with the transaction under the condition that he went first.
I rationalized this proposal, with the observation that during our whole conversation, I managed to find 7-8 holes in his explanations, while he found nothing incrimination about me or my profile.
I provide an ultimatum, telling him that he can either accept my proposal, decline my proposal, or unfriend and block me.
He proceeded to try to convince me to go first with the trade, irrationally calling me a scammer.
I then unfriended and blocked him.
This report will be submitted to SteamRep as well as to Steam Support.
