What happened? Description:

User Richard M added me. He asked me if I wanted to sell my knife, said he would pay first via PayPal. I agreed to this. He then sent me an invoice and not a payment via PayPal although at this point I was not looking too closely and thought it was a payment. I make the initial trade, knowing I will have to confirm with email. I double check everything before confirming trade and I discover that it was an invoice he sent and not a payment. He kept saying that it was a payment and calling me a scammer so I said I would contact PayPal support to confirm either way. At this point he disconnects and I contact PayPal support. PayPal support confirms that it was only an invoice and no money will be sent to my account from him. Luckily I caught on before trading and did not lose anything. However this is a new and more intelligent type of scam than your average fake link and it almost got me.​

So this guy actually just scammed me for my 85$ knife.
I'm such a stupid sack of s✿✿✿. Luckily the knife wasn't that expensive so ill just buy a new one but it still sucks...
