What happened? Description:

This guy reached out to me on steam asking if I was interested to sell my skins. He added me on steam and basically explained to me that he found my profile by typing 'selling' and 'inventory' into google. We had no mutual friends but it made sense to me. We traded discords and we started discussing the trade. As of right now (after he's scammed me), he's deleted a large portion of our discord PMs but luckily I recorded some parts of our conversations. We go back and forth discussing the price and finally, we agree on $1280 (which is 25% below the market value of my inventory value) which made sense (We later end up agreeing on $1320 but I didn't manage to get that screenshotted). So we agree on that price and finally, it comes to the point where we decide who goes first in the trade. He showed me a bunch of pictures and links that prove he was reputable---this is where I go wrong. Had I taken a closer look at all the evidence he provided me, I could have thrown a couple of red flags but I didn't. I trusted him at first sight. So I end up sending over my entire inventory to him and he told me he would INSTA-PAY me as soon as all the skins were through. I had no reason not to believe him based on all the bitcoin and Paypal records he showed me. Finally, once I had cleared my inventory, he blocked me on both steam and discord.​
