What happened? Description:

I had this random guy on Steam add me, so I messaged him "Need something?" as I had no idea who the guy was.

Finally a day later I get a reply of him saying "Hey" and then we go on into a small chit chat then he says "I want to show you something real quick if that's good" "Shouldn't take much time at all", I asked "Ok, what is it?" He said "I sent you a trade for a 3 cent item I'm gonna demonstrate something if u could accept" At this point I already had red flags up and was instantly suspicious, but it was a 3 cent skin to I decided to go along with it, I just had to be careful.

So I accepted the trade, then a couple minutes later I was send back the same skin but with 7 of them. (The Nova Predator)

Each minute you will get a tradeoffer from the bot with one Item. Each Item, takes about 1 minute to double. = 10 items = 10 minutes.

Then he tried to explain to me he uses a software to glitch and duplicate the skins with these 'verification bots' and garbage like that, and I knew it was fake.

He says he can duplicate all my skins and it would take 10 mins to duplicate them into 10 items using his software, but he also added he would keep 2 of them.

As we go on I ask him to duplicate one more skin for me (The MAC-10 Red Apple FN) which is about $0.07, so I knew he would. And so he does send me a trade back with a few more of the items.

After a while he sends me a trade for my AK-47 Redline (I knew it was coming) and he tells me he can duplicate it.

At this point I know he is scamming, so I confront him.

And after that he just decides to remove me, simple as that.

TL;DR;
This guy tries to trick me into making me believe that he can 'Glitch' or 'Hack' CS:GO items with this 'Software' and 'Verification Bot'.​
