What happened? Description:

The scammer added me to friends and asked if I'm trading my music kit. I said no. Then he asked me how much one cost and if i could trade him mines. I said what're you going to give me in exchange ? He said I will give you 20 $ steam gift card and if i give him my email he will show me the actual card he has. Then he said that i want your music kit, all cases and 2 more skins. I said ok. I was going first and said him the items. Then he dissapeared and his profile was set to private. After some time his profile wasn't private anmore and i could see that he has my items, but now he maybe sold them, after about 2 hours of having them. I tried to speak with him via Gmail and steam messenger but no answer ... Asked about 20 friend of mine to report him, because i was really mad... I also took some screenshots as we were doing the "deal".​

since you this amount of overwhelming evidence i suggest you report this steam scam supports themselves

  Phishing/hijacking account reports

You can, however, report the user directly to Valve using the Report Violation feature on the other user's profile. To do so:

1. Visit the accused's profile
2. Click More drop-down located at the top right of the page
3. Choose Report Violation
4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
5. Click Submit Report
