What happened? Description:

A CS:GO Youtuber scammed me because he "did it for his mom"...

As I searched for a copy of GTA V, a dude called "Poremeten" passed through and offered himself to sell me it for 16 keys. He then proceeds by telling me the gift will be sent to my E-mail and that he'd want the payment afterwards (This due to the fact game gifts get trade-banned for 30 days, but can still be gifted to a friend). Dumb enough, I followed it and received the game in my inventory. As I thought it was locked in there I obviously paid him.

However, 2 days passed and I suddenly realize my game was gone and as I searched around I came across several posts about "Gift revoking". They basically claim to have their credit card stolen so all the purchases get revoked, and he keeps his s✿✿✿.

I then commented on his youtube videos and was immediately added on steam, and his statings are shown in the pictures;

See it as a warning to all my fellow traders in this community. Do not trust anyone, this world is too messed up. I have cashed out thousands of dollars and was aware of all possible scams, but this blew my mind. Keep a little extra attention when trading steam games.​
