I accepted his friend request and chatted with him. At first, he was willing to buy my StatTrak™ M9 Bayonet Ultraviolet Minimal wear. I asked him about what made my M9 Bayonet worth 1800 euro. He said:

I think it's really fishy, who'd buy a knife for 1800€ without checking if it's being sold on the steam market for less than 1800€?

After a while of chatting, he threatened me and told me that I was going to get banned on steamrep.

The best report category for this was Scam Attempt.

At the failed report attempt, I saw that the scammer was even telling me that the victim was going to get banned on steamrep.
