    Scam Report

Report Type: [Other] Any other fraudulent behavior
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198203698004

    Victim profile: 76561198255272296

    What happened? Description:
On 3/11/2018, I was scammed out of most of my TF2 items because of trust and stupidity.
So to begin, I was friended by someone named Jesp who wanted my unusual taunt which I declined before agreeing to check out some of his items. I find some items I thought were good and put them up. I was going to add some more but I never got around to it as the guy started a conversation with me before setting up a group chat with the fake Murkury. Murkury then asks for the items to 'verify' them if they're frauds or not. When he finishes, he says that their frauds and that we need to pay 20 Chroma keys from CSGO. This is where I get skeptical. 20 keys for a game that I don't even own nor relate to TF2 at all. After that whole fiasco, he asks for more of our items to 'verify' and after some debate on why shouldn't I send one item to verify, I somehow manage to accept the trade offer. I then go onto the steam app on my phone and cick accept which comes up with an error. I then try to click cancel and it fails. I say this in the chat and then I start doubting Murkury as an admin after that, which led to him threatening to delete all my items and I thought nothing of it until I checked my inventory. The trade had gone through apparently, and I started freaking out. I messaged Jesp asking what to do and then he told me to 'Find the way' and buy the keys which I couldn't afford. He then messaged me saying Murkury needed to leave for his country and that he wanted $30 now. Later when I got a steam card, I asked Murkury for screenshots of my items which he denied and said 'I'm removing you now' after saying that he had other clients, then promptly went offline. After an hour of posting my previous fourm post, a person by the name of Kyoko "Meme Sauce" Sakura asked me about the situation and helped me figure out that the person I reported was the actual Murkury and not the one who scammed me.

    Provide Evidence:
I believe the screenshots I show in the files below are good, if not please tell me if they aren't. The last two, Steamshot 1 is the false Murkury while the second Steamshot is of the actual Murkury.

I also changed the report to reflect the user that you were FIRST involved with the Jesp user...you always just report THAT user and reference others not the other way around.
It makes it difficult to review when you do it backwards.
I'll fix this one report - from now on if you don't submit a report properly it will just be marked invalid and you will have to resubmit.
