    What happened? Description:
    Hey,

    today - the 16th of August - I've ran into a scam from a friend that I've known since last year.

    Let me sum up the story quickly:
    Basically we've been friends for quite some time, we've been talking through Steam/Snapchat quite a lot and I started trusting the certain person quite a bit as the time went by.
    Long story short, I decided to lend the certain person an item as I felt they I had the needed trust on my end in order to do so. After ~2 days (which was the time the certain person was ment to give the item back) the person blocked me on Steam and ran away with the item.

    To be mentioned: I have limited proof (quite a lot of chat evidence as I was able to recover chat logs before the person blocked deleted/blocked me) as our chats were partially on Snapchat which I was blocked through too. Hope you understand my situation there!

    Not enough evidence - I see no mention of any exact item so the full agreement is lacking and more importantly there is NO date/time stamp on any of the chats you gave so its completely invalid.
    If most of the chat was on snapchat there is nothing we can do then.
    You can report them to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
