    Scam Report

Report Type: [Trade Offer Fraud] Using Trade Offer URL fraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198234128068

    Victim profile: 76561198029296249

    What happened? Description:
user sent a phishing link, i clicked on it, user asked me to deposit items on marketplace.tf, which i did, but his alternate account used a fake bot to impersonate it, which fooled me.

    Provide Evidence:
So i had an specialized australium rocket launcher that i wanted to upgrade into a professional variant, i could only find one user that had the requirements i wanted (agonizing emerald + flames), sadly this was on marketplace.tf and i didnt want to pay about 100 bucks for it, so i thought: "i can offer mine + keys or money for his's"

i add the guy and he wants me to check the median price on a website of his (check screenshots) [im not posting the link on this transcript] the website seemed legit, the "login to steam" was sort of small and was looking kinda crappy so i clicked on it anyway, after trying it out my items were still in my inventory, no problem here.

After this, he tells me to do it on marketplace.tf instead, so i do it, i go into marketplace and deposit my items into bot #47, i wait for about 15 minutes, meanwhile the guy persists on depositing my other valuable items in there, at this point i think this guy is upto something so i check my trade offers and inventory history and i find out that the profile i sent my items into was a fake, the fake profile had no friends whatsoever and it looked shitty.

Also noticed that the real marketplace bot trade offer was cancelled by me via the phishing bullcrap, at this point i realized im screwed and i lost about 100 bucks worth of items (i lost a specialized killstreak australium rocket launcher with gib kills and villainous violet sheen and a specialized killstreak stickybomb launcher with agonizing emeral effect)

Worth mentioning that the guy persisted on depositing stuff onto that weird alt account, plus that alt account keeps changing names but they are not logged by steam, error pops up saying: "This user has no known aliases"
