He made several threads in steam groups claiming he won 2 PGI Title Set codes and wants to sell his spare. He wanted $30 wallet codes which I bought him. He unfriended me after taking the codes. Just heads up for everyone Reported to steam as well.​

I'm pretty sure I was scammed by an alt of the same person (also for a PGI code) just now. I have a big steam chatlog as evidence but there doesn't seem to be any way to save it into one file (other than copying it into a notepad file or something). Does this website actually do anything? I did a little digging and the problem is that the scammer seems to have a huge number of alts (all who give each other +rep on their account pages), each of which looks like a legit gamer, in terms of having lots of games, hours logged, decently high Steam level, etc. Not sure if there's any good way to dig them out.

Okay so for me I dig a little deeper. I found out he is from Philippines, his 70% friends were Philippines so I figured. I reported him to authorities there. He has his phone number linked with steam account cuz he was chatting with me via phone. After reporting him to police i posted police help line number and this report's link under all his threads where he was advertising. Within 10 minutes he added me back and was begging to take my money back. He offered to buy a cheap skin from me for the cost of money I paid him. He did buy it but it locked my account from steam as the system thought I was laundering money or some s✿✿✿ lol now I have made a support ticket in steam, hopefully I will be able to get rid of the restrictions on my account soon. If it's the same person then I can pressure him to give your money back too. He is still in my friend list and he was really scared of police thing.
