    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198244594928

    Victim profile: 76561198033421990

    What happened? Description:
Another attempt to scam my Butterfly Blue Steel WW for $. We talked about the price and he/she send a fake "payment" which actually was a bill.

    Provide Evidence:
As you can see in the Screenshots, he/she asked me if I want to sell my knife.

I asked, how much he/she would pay and the answer was 142$ which did sound pretty good.

I agreed and gave him/her my PayPal email and got after 2 minutes the answer, that I should check my PayPal.

There wasnt a payment made from the "buyer", instead he send a fake bill with a note, that this Money is a "gift" which takes up to 24 hrs to arrive on my paypal.

As you can see the bill is marked as "paid" and the note for the duration of the "payment" is simply a note by him.

Thanks - this user is already banned/tagged - nothing more we can do to them.
Should you come across a user like this again upon checking them when you accept as friends, its best to just report them to Valve, delete and move on.
Due to the amount of offenses already listed on this users profile, we won't be listing any thing more.
Report will be archived for future reference.
Again you can always report the user to Valve
