What happened? Description:

I submitted a post on r/globaloffensivetrade, asking for a PC. 2 users messaged me and referred me to snape (the accused). Because the float of my knife was very rare, I had limited options in terms of selling it. So, i chose to sell it to snape. Long story short, he scammed me out of my shadow daggers. However, all of our messages were on Twitter, so i couldnt report him for that. I added him on steam a couple of days after he blocked me on twitter, and he completely forgot that he scammed me. Since we were never steam friends, i guess he just didnt remember my steam account. So, I added him, pretending to want to sell my flip knife and M9. I tried to get as much out of him (on steam messages) as possible, to prove that he is a scammer. I asked him if anybody could vouch for him after we agreed on a price (which, by the way, was over 20% of market value... it's even over CS.Money market value which should be enough proof of the scam!) He sent me 2 fake twitter accounts, BOTH are impersonating legitimate traders. Account 1 - https://twitter.com/magnemaus_cs Account 2 - https://twitter.com/_AinzCS . I added the REAL magnemaus on Steam, and magnemaus confirmed that this twitter account is fake and not his. I messaged both of the fake accounts, pretending to be unaware that snape was running them, and both accounts "vouched" for snape and pretended that they have done deals before, etc. All screenshots will be sent below of the twitter DMs. After this, we started discussing the payment method. I told him I would prefer Zelle or Venmo, despite him wanting to use PayPal F&F. He proceeded to agree on using Venmo, after telling me he currently lives in Denmark. The thing is, Venmo can NOT be used internationally, and he is 100% aware of this.... but he does not care, because he would not send me any money. He pretended to create the account as we were talking, telling me it was finished after about 5 MINUTES. ID verification takes significantly longer than 5 minutes in itself, so that too is an obvious lie.

TLDR - He is using fake twitter accounts impersonating real (reputable) Steam cash traders to "vouch" for him, as well as the fact that he said he would send the payment on Venmo when that is impossible to do from Denmark to the US.

All screenshots are attached. Logs of our Steam conversation, and both twitter conversations I had with his impersonators. Please take action against this scammer before he scams anybody else!

Considering that he literally already scammed me, I 100% know he's a scammer and this is so fake. On my other twitter account, he blocked me on both accounts (his fake magnemaus account and his own account) at the exact same time, I have no doubt in my mind whatsoever that he is behind all of these impersonation accounts. How would he not be, considering those accounts lied about doing deals with him. Anyway, I hoped the evidence I showed will lead you to the same conclusion, and I hope you will take action to prevent further scams.​

The three telltale signs that this is a scam attempt are as follows:

1. He sent me fake Twitter accounts in an attempt to make me believe he is trustworthy. This is an objective attempt at an impersonation scam.

2. He offered exactly 126% of Buff price for my items. Offering 100% is a little suspicious in itself, but 126%?? Absolutely no way. He is clearly overvaluing my skins significantly in an attempt to get me to go through with the deal, as he did previously.

3. He told me he is able to send the payment with Venmo, despite the fact that it is literally impossible to send Venmo payments internationally. Look it up. And the fact that he 100% assured me that the payment would go through clearly shows that he has no intention of following through with the deal.
