    Scam Report

Report Type: [Money] Steam Wallet fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198261648868

    Victim profile: 76561198096198564

    What happened? Description:
So this guy originally seemed legit and was posting trades on the CSGO trade steam forum. So i decided to add him and ask how much he would pay for my AWP electric hive FN with 2 katos on it. He said that he would be willing to pay $145 usd via steam wallet codes. I was overjoyed and skeptical at the same time, i was only asking for $70 usd but he said that he would be willing to overpay. I decided to ask around discord to see if it was a scam or not, and most of the people said there was that it was a scam and people dont buy items for overpay especially with steam wallet codes. He also, to prove that he was not a scammer said that he would discord screenshare his previous cash rep and transactions. I unfortunately did not take pictures of record what transpired. However, i am able to say that I saw many items that he had previously taken from other people. During the exchange I was able to see a person that he was talking with. I looked that person up "https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198021649118" (I have the screenshot of that account below) and saw that they had an awp dragon lore that was in the list of previous transactions that he had made. I tried to add them to talk about what transpired with the "accused". I was immediately blocked and a couple days after the awp dragon lore disappeared, instead a couple other aks and m4s showed up (they are in the screenshot). I concluded that this was a storage account that he owned (he is still friends with the "accused"), but I was not a 100% sure that this was indeed a scam. But, I had 3 big red flags that popped up for me, one that he said he had been trading since 2012, but his account was created in 2015, two the picture of the steam wallet code he previously bought was "invalid" when I tested it, and not "used already" as other wallet codes show up as when tried to reinput them, the final red flag was that he has done 14,000 transactions, which is near impossible unless you trade back and forth with a dummy account. Therefore, i continued searching around for evidence that this was either a scam or not, i decided to ask people that previously dealt with him, "people that left comments on his profile", one of them i added from a comment on a "how not to get scammed" guide that he has on his profile, (the comment has been deleted by the owner recently). I came across two people that said that he successfully scammed them. I have included chat logs with the two people i talked to. I am sorry that I do not have the complete evidence and that this explanation is so long. I hope that even if he is not banned on steamrep that this report will forever show on his record.

Well s✿✿✿, i looked through his past reports and it seems that they provided the same type of evidence as me, but the convos are on discord so they all got rejected, at least this will stay on his profile for others to find and hopefully not get scammed like the people that posted before me...
