    So this guy adds me randomly even tho I haven't listed any of my items for sale/trade and asks to trade my Karambit Doppler. When I agreed to trade, he asked me for pattern index. When I've shown him the metjm shot and provided the pattern index, he wanted me to check it again on fraudulent website of his.​

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
