What happened? Description:

This person randomly sends a chat to me late night at 11pm, told me that I have a "pending ban", I knew this scam motive so I followed along and refers me to another person by the name Ethan Muller (https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198393635180 (who is impersonating as a valve employee)). Ethan then executes the scam, telling me that he wants me to send my "reported items" (all of the "reported items" are the highest value compared to my other items) to a third account (used for item stashing) for "verification" purposes, at this moment, I just send a trade request with my crates that I never intend to open, after telling him I did send the trade request, he then asks if I'm trolling him (which I did). Conversation ended abruptly both with Ethan and the initiator after that. So This person is the initiator, Ethan is the executioner, and the third account is just a tool to make it look convincing.​

I know that https://steamcommunity.com/id/Official-Ethan-Valve123 has been banned, I just searched through my message logs just to find the account because the chat is no longer available because of the late report, to my surprise, yes he has been banned last I checked before taking the screenshot. just adding the info in the report for the sake of completion.

As I pointed, he just shot a random message late at night.

Hmm you reported me "[Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt" just to let u know I don't own paypal or credit card money. This problem has been sprat to my friend and my brother so can you at lest tell me when I did this so call "money scam"

@ЩĄ | Horse I saying is https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198797926820/ started sending me a message saying I have ban report pending. The rest start on steam I asked me for my account so I gave him I don't know what to do cause some of my friends are offline at the moment I also unfriend him and blocked him but I have him in discord. As I got my account back I checked my friend list and check all the message he sent some of my friends got I then they unfriend me to be safe as I told them not to respond my real account. It took me a long time to fix this problem and I also don't like scamming or stealing any of the items from any players.

I can't all of my emails were deleted for some reason.

As I was playing my game all of sudden my account was log out and also my steam email was change even my password and phone number and as I was checking the problem my emails was deleted it's not even in the trash and also my brother got a message from my account saying the same thing. I checked on steamrep and found that this user was banned. I don't know how but I think the guy guessed the password of my email now I changed it since my first password I put for my email was easy I changed it.

There my account is recovered.
