    Report Type: DO NOT SUBMIT TO STEAMREP - Account hijack
    Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198279389817

    Victim profile: 76561198326768844

    What happened? Description:
    At first he was just trying to chat me up doing give-aways to people in his friend's list.. He offered $100 steam wallet funds first through paypal but wanted information on my account first. He then proceeded to switching over to discord to show some proof that he wasn't lying. I checked steamrep, backpack.tf and his profile. Nothing was amiss, and I knew him through a friend I played with in Competitive. After depositing my valuables to a more secure account, I followed through his ploy and got my account stolen. Recovered it immediately, but the damage has already been done to some of my items​

    So I switch over to discord and have a talk with his so called "offer"

    and then starts the suspicious part.. He asks for my account, steamguard etc. View attachment 699527

    This goes on for a couple of minutes of me trying to say that I don't trust him.. I deposited all my items onto another account and started going along with his ploy

    Somewhere along the way, a trade offer comes up on steam trading all my items

    This was when he finally got tired of my stalling, so he did what hi came for

    Well after that, I was just buying time for my items to transfer and he got away with a stolen account. Recovered it 20 mins after and some items were missing.

    I do hope you put a label on him, and his inventory is also legit. Hope mods can find something on him.

    Unfortunately, SteamRep does not accept reports dealing with hijacking/phishing/hacking -Due to current Investigative Policy

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
