    Scam Report

Report Type: [Trade Offer Fraud] Using Trade Offer URL fraud
Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198283049506

    Victim profile: 76561198142543149

    What happened? Description:
So this kid adds me, and says he wants to trade. I get that a lot, so I didn't think anything of it. He then tells me that he's trading for a friend, and he says that he'll overpay. I thought that was fishy, so I went along with it.

He then sends me a "trade link", claiming it to belong to his friend. I copied/pasted it to my Goggle search bar and I immediately noticed it was spelled "steamornmunity" to try to throw me off. I did the stupid thing and clicked it. Thankfully, I didn't get a malware virus, but the link sent me to a fake steam panel asking for my username and password. I was already logged on to steam, so I knew this was fake.

I then called him out, but he was trying to play the innocent card. "It's what my friend sent me" bullcrap like that. I have the screenshots to the chat log, and everything else that is needed.

    Provide Evidence:
This kid actually has his scam link on his profile! It's crazy how he's not already banned. I hope this is enough!
