    Scam Report

Report Type: [Rep Fraud] Impersonation with intent to defraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198283292018

    Victim profile: 76561198048851745

    What happened? Description:
Impersonation of a high volume trader to both me and a friend of mine. Attempted to do some trading using their name with me and my friend.

    Provide Evidence:
User attempted to impersonate this high volume trader: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198011321852

I was contacted by someone saying they are impersonating others as the impersonator was on my friends list. I talked to the impersonator and they continued to link me to the real trader. I have deleted the impersonator off my friends list.

Evidence: https://imgur.com/a/GtiQp (Me talking to impersonator and him linking the real trader)

Note in the evidence that I accidentally exited chat which lost the beginning of it. I said that a person is accusing him of impersonating, he denied and attempted to trade with me.

Impersonator says Steam is bugged, which doesn't seem likely as I added the real trader and they seemed confused: https://imgur.com/a/FfK6R

You are not the victim - the victim will need to submit a proper report with proper evidence showing full intent to defraud.
You adding someone on behalf of someone else isn't advisable considering all you did is confront someone.
Rejecting - the true victim needs to submit the report with proper evidence which should include any discussion via screenshot they have.
