    Scam Report

Report Type: [Trade Offer Fraud] Using Trade Offer URL fraud
Virtual item type involved: [TF2] Team Fortress 2 Items

    Accused profile: 76561198286345552

    Victim profile: 76561198059060866

    What happened? Description:
The person added me without any comment on my profile page.
I checked his profile and the description seems to say that he adds people because he's interested in buying people's items with 20% overpay.
I decided to accept his request and he said he wants my eight items:
    -Specialized Killstreak Rocket Launcher
    -Haunted Chicken Kiev
    -Quackston's Own Duck Journal
    -Strange Killstreak Scattergun
    -Strange Dark Age Defender
    -The Lone Survivor
    -Medical Monarch
    -Taunt: Soldier's Requiem

He wants me to talk on Discord so we both added each other.
The reason why he wanted to discuss on Discord is so he can screenshare his private inventory.
He offered me to give me an Unusual Pyro hat for my eight items.
He asked me for a trade offer URL link so I gave it to him.

Now here's the part where I should've been more careful next time:
He asked me if I know a site called BitSkins which I did not.
He gave a link to one of its bots and message "please check my 8 items" in order to verify that my items is marketable.
I thought this is really sketchy so I decided to check for myself.
He asks me to share my screen and he guided me on how to check items on BitSkins by testing it with one of my worthless crates. I gave the crate to one of BitSkins' bots and withdraw it back. It's recorded on the Item History.

Now the part where I got scammed.
I selected the eight items, told me to reload and I received an offer from one of the bots on Steam.
    I accepted.
He told me to go to my Item History and for some reason, there's nothing recorded on the history other than my crate. He asked me to reload and then a new trade offer comes up.
There's twelve items that I'm giving away but I wasn't paying attention to what items they were exactly.
    I accepted the offer.
He told me to check my Item History again, reload and a new offer came up.
Thux requested only 8 items. I'm now starting to give away more than eight different items.
The new trade offer wants my taunts now which is obvious that I've been scammed because I'm pretty sure he only wants eight specific items.
I'm starting to realise that the bot was already part of my friendlist (as requested by the scammer) and it's not part of the official BitSkins' bot group nor is the fake bot has the founder of BitSkins on its friendlist.
The Item History in BitSkins has to be automatic and there's no reason why it didn't record my items. I called him out and calmly asking him to stop and give back my items if he wishes to avoid a trade ban, which he's not because the public profile doesn't contain the red "Currently trade banned" mark.
He keeps insisting that he's not and wants me to accept the last offer in order to get my items back or the unusual hat but I highly doubt that the creator of BitSkins would not keep their users' items forever and not have the trades recorded on the Item History page.
I gave him a last warning if he wishes me to not get Steam Support to trade ban him, he has to give me back my items or give me the Unusual hat that he offered.
He did not follow what I said and unfriended me on Steam and Discord.
Oh and the fake bot unfriended me too. I wonder why...

Here's the fake bot's URL link if it helps: https://steamcommunity.com/id/78994987891312313

@Hoovy Pootismann You do realize this user is already banned/tagged here right? No idea why you were dealing with them...this is a tag that should alert you not to deal with this user. Nothing more we can do to them here.
I'm accepting report for what you provided but also that they are still doing what they were already tagged for- final note on this user also.
Any future reports will be archived.
In the future check users out - if you see they are already tagged/banned here just delete/ignore them and move on.
