What happened? Description:

A person who has already been steamrep banned added me and asked if he could buy my unusual. He then asked me if I could "verify" my items by trading them to a friend. He then proceeded to claim that his steam wasn't working properly after I invited my friend to the chat. An account named the same as my friend with the same profile pic, but a private profile, then invited me to the trade asking for my unusual. While the main account has been steamrepped already, the account used to impersonate my friend has not been.
Note: the account's profile name and pic have already changed.​

Oh, just wanted to say apologies about this. I didn't mean to come across as a witchunter, I just know a lot of people who were affected by a scammer and therefore really don't like scammers. Anyway, I'll try to avoid steamrepped people in the future. Thanks for helping out.

Well, I looked around but couldn't find the origonal account. Luckily, I didn't loose any items to the guy because I realized what he was doing partially through the scam after he asked for my "friend" to verify the items. I just now thought of the fact that I might not be allowed to submit scam reports if I did not actually go through with the trade, and if so, I apologize. Either way, I apologize but I can't find the first account's steamrep block.
