    What happened? Description:
    Erin (steamID64: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198965816156) contacted me via Twitter that he is interested in buying some of my skins. We settled for 1.3k Euros for my Katowice Stickers.

    Hombre is the middle man in the situation. The reason I put Hombre as the accused one is because the buyer (Erin) is already banned by SteamRep.

    Here is the subreddit Erin has sent to me: https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditSteamTrade/wiki/index . You can see it's a fake Subreddit used for scams. There are some legit Middlemans to, but Hombre is for sure fake.​

    Provide Evidence:
    Twitter 1- first contact with the fake buyer
    Twitter 2 & 3- Gif sent to the attacker and then being blocked

    ok first off any steam chat you edited I need UNEDITED - anything off twitter/reddit is not acceptable evidence and won't be used to review.
    Lastly you made this report backwards - in the future you report the FIRST user you were involved with not the others, you just reference them like you did.
    And just so you know the Erinye user you SHOULD have reported has been banned/tagged here for over 400 days..why didn't you check them out better before talking to them? There isn't a thing more we can do to them and you could have prevented any of this had you checked.

    In order to make sense to you I posted everything chronologically.

    The report is against the fake middle man. Not against Erin who was banned 400 days ago. I didn't check because I didn't know about this site only after I have discovered the subreddit is fake.

    Why should have I reported Erin if Erin is already banned? Of course I report the accounts that are affiliated with Erin.

    If you wanna ban the fake middleman that worked with Erin, fine. If you don't, I don't care. Let people get scammed more.

    We don't investigate how legit a site is or how new it is unless its impersonating this one. If you were FIRST involved with Erin that is who you should have reported HOWEVER you should have seen they were tagged as soon as you were supposed to check a user out and should have avoided them in the first place. Understand?
    That is the whole purpose for the tag. Also making a report backwards makes things difficult to review.
    Lastly - no need to lecture on what we can and will do as for tagging someone here..we have procedures and I'm explaining them so you and anyone else reading this report will know in the future. Trying to apply some kinda guilt trip isn't going to work..I only review what I have and how its supposed to be reviewed.

    You didn't do anything that I asked so far so I can't review this yet. Check out the first line I asked of you and reply again pls.

    If you were to check why Erin is banned you would see that he got banned because he was a middle man. I wanted to help the community by pointing out another account that's used for fraudulent purposes.

    As I have said, I had no idea about STEAM Rep so I couldn't check his rep. I found out about it because I saw the SteamRep Block IDs on the official reddit page used for middlemaning and only after I saw that Erin was banned.

    And I didn't get scammed, what are you even talking about? - "There isn't a thing more we can do to them and you could have prevented any of this had you checked."

    Here are the photos in the order of events. Take it or leave it. This process is just a pain in the a**.

    Just because I switched the order of the SteamRep Blocked IDS you "can't review anything". Really dude?

    Really, you make it so hard for people to report such an obvious scam.

    It's really simple:
    1. The twitter screenshot proves he was the one sending the malicious subreddit page and I wasnt the one coming with it. That shows his intentions are malicious and it wasn't me just bringing a random middleman in conversation. You ignoring that just shows how bad of an analyst you are.
    2. Check to see if the reddit page is fake. Answer: it is!
    3. Check to see if the buyer's rep is malicious: it is, he is already banned.
    4. Conclusion: The buyer sent the victim a malicios subreddit page which pointed him into a scam even - the buyer and the middleman work hand in hand.

    p.s: Trust me my friend, I work in Cyber Security as an analyst and every fake webpage/phishing website should be taken into consideration. Stop being so blinded by your FIXED procedures and only follow some stupid steam screenshots. Everything is useful in an investigation.
    I literally gave you everything step by step but because you saw some edited photos and the "wrong" accused steam profile you got stuck.

    p.s p.s: Rethink your procedures or be a little bit more flexible.

    The reason why someone was previously banned/tagged here isn't relevant to this report - I'm ONLY looking at this report first and foremost vs past history of anyone.
    That may go into account later on. The long winded response you made wasn't needed .. I only asked for screenshots that weren't edited.

    As for not knowing about steamrep...you know about google right? or any search engine if you ID64 search someone it would have brought you right to here as its indexed often. Our MAIN goal here isn't to BAN or TAG anyone - its to EDUCATE - that is what I'm doing here...I'm educating you and others on how and when you should research a user you wish to deal with...we are not here to punish anyone and that isn't what the tag does.
    Just keep that in mind in the future to take your time to research someone however it needs to be done prior to dealing, it would have prevented a lot of issues.
    We make it a certain way to make a report here regardless if you think something is "obvious" or not to provide proper evidence and complete evidence otherwise its just word against word and the accused is just that..being accused with nothing to back it up and baseless accusations. Without proper evidence a tag we apply wouldn't stick here as they could appeal and be justified well within their rights to point that out.
    Where you work or what you do is completely irrelevant to anything related to this report..... aside from that I'll ask ONE quick question.

    You mentioned FAKE webpage and PHISHING website - are you claiming they/accused/other user created a PHISHING webpage/site and it was at any point utilized during this event?
