What happened? Description:

This person was on my friends list, probably from a game of TF2, and had been sending weirdish stuff over a long period of time and has changed their name multiple times and cleared previous aliases. Anyways, the point is that recently I got a random text from them about them reporting me, which was already suspicious, but my thick head went along with it for quite a while-------(I've attached photos of our convo through phone screenshots)------- They essentially tell me that I need to message this person, a "steam admin" named SSUP (SMITH). At this point it finally clicks in my thick skull. I obviously don't add them, and start messing around to see if they'll start slipping up in their story, and sure enough, they somehow make contact with that admin (despite them telling me that they won't listen to them, which can only logically come off to me as they didn't respond). At one point I just completely spill the beans about my awareness of what is happening. After they catch on, which took surprisingly longer than expected, they went and unfriended and blocked me, which could have been a problem if I hadn't already screenshotted the whole thing. They also deleted the comments made from the SSUP (SMITH) account.

Yes I know I didn't really lose anything, but the fact remains this person tried to scam me. I don't know if they have done it to others, but it would explain the constant change in usernames, and I feel its still a priority to do this. Anyways, thanks for everything! I'll try my best to respond over the following days!​

lol srry i know this is the chat log transcript, but like, can you believe this guy, they went from "Hello I am "SMITH" a Community bla bla bla", to "Please add me"
