What happened? Description:

He changed his ratio 20 cards for 1 csgo key ratio on purpose to 10 cards for 1 csgo key to scam me. I paid the 2 csgo keys via steam and I didn't get the amount his profile and his name says. I found his level up bot via his account and I found him via a group called 'Trump Giveaways'. After the scam did he delete me and block me.

I wanted to buy sets to finally reached level 250 so I added his bot. We chatted about the steam card future. And how people react to it. Afterwards he went offline and changed his ratio to scam me. I even made him say it by asking him for a confirmation. (see chats)

I've traded for a very long time to get these keys and he just steals them away. I hope you can mark him as scammer before more casualities might happen...

I'm the accused here.

All I have to say is that Archmeton has knowingly accepted the trade offer he received. I have not tricked him in any way. The trade offer simply was there, he checked it out and confirmed the trade. Everything was there, that's not my fault if you aren't satisfied from the trade. By accepting it you accepted what was inside of it.

Not checking a trade carefully and then knowingly accepting/confirming it is not a scam.

You confirmed in the chat that you were aware of it and it was your plan the whole time. It's a scam and you know it pretty well. The evidence tells it all. YOU CONFIRMED THAT YOU DID IT ON PURPOSE (((((

The only fact here is that he ADMITTED in the chat that he did it on purpose. He changed it to scam me. You can read it in the chat log.

He admitted that he wanted to scam me and in the end he did it. People like him should be banned forever from Steam. Its the same as stealing from a local store but in this scenario online.

I was supposed to get about 420+- cards but he only send 210 by changing the bot 'ratio' from 20 sets for 1 csgo key to 10 sets for 1 csgo key. So he basicly scammed me 1 csgo key.

Actually I didn't trade with him, the trade was between him and my bot.

The bot automatically sends trade offers in regards to the current ratio. For example, if the ratio is 20:1, the bot automatically sends a trade offer with 20 cards sets in exchange of a key.

All I did is I changed the ratio. He should have checked the ratio again before trading (as I stated I was restarting it) before just buying like that by using the bot's commands. The trade offer was sent for the current ratio, and he accepted and confirmed it. That was not a scam, he simply forgot to check the ratio. I offered him a refund already, yet he only deletes my comments.

You said different in the chat log. You said you did it on purpose to scam me and I even played a long to make sure you would confirm that you scammed me on purpose.

And I dont want a refund. A scam is a scam and the only thing I want is you being steamrep banned to make the comunnity a bit more safe.

I never said my purpose was scamming you. I said thanks for the trade and that you don't deserve trading with my bot again (due to you brony hating on me for months and tricking me into a scam WHICH was as well reported here on steamrep but was marked as invalid). So I just removed and blocked you. I also tried to recontact you in order to refund, but as you said you don't want it.

Your name is 20 sets for 1 key. Your profile says 20 sets for 1 key and your non steam game's name says 20 sets for 1 key.

A scam is a scam. Even if you did it because you dont like someone. You stole 210 cards of an innocent person and you are acting like its normal. Disgusting.

I can change my bot's ratio anytime, I don't need any permission to do so. I never said i change my ratio for YOU as Archmeton, but YOU as customer. Customers are the reason why the bot is a thing. If I want to sell sets with a 10:1 ratio, I do it. And you sent the buy command the same second the bot came online. What you're saying is just pointless, I'll simply wait an admin for their response.

Youre basicly saying that you can announce in a advertisement that a car is 50000 euro and that you note it everywhere even during the chat but you secretly change it to 100000 without telling or noting it anywhere and afterwards you tell him thst you made it twice as expensive to scam that person and you just blocks that person and run away with his money...

A 1 on 1 trade offer can never be a scam. You accepted knowingly, it's your duty to actually check the trade.
You can't call it a scam if you failed to check the trade.

Steam Mobile Authenticator was improved for the purpose of letting you double check the trades you make. If you accept a trade, you agree with it. That's it.
