    Accused profile: 76561198306127412

    Victim profile: 76561198303844226

    What happened? Description:
    Added me as a friend, the proceeded to ask if I was selling my knife. Having seen many of these types of scams, I baited him a bit. We agreed on $220. He then asked if my knife was "stolen, or duped". He told me to go to the chrome web store and add an extension called "GreenView" which he would then use to check if my knife was "legit" (which I obviously did not download). I linked him this page- https://forums.steamrep.com/pages/about-item-checking-scam/ and he promptly blocked me (Note that he says on his profile he will never do so). I may be able to find other screenshots, but I was on my phone so once he blocked me I wasn't able to see the chat again.​

    Scammer: Me need to screen with Green View if it not stolen
    Victim: I can assure you it's not duped- Steam stopped refunding stolen items a long time ago
    Victim: Ok
    Scammer: Bro me need 1 screen
    Scammer: ok ?
    Scammer: u know GV ?
    Scammer: kk
    Victim: I found it. So I should just add it to check if my items are legit?
    Scammer: yes
