What happened? Description:

Fell for a scam with $240 of items lost. Told him specifically that I needed the money for school and I got jebaited. He worked with a middleman (https://steamcommunity.com/id/OfficialMaksym/) on another reddit page that is listed above. I believe that they are all working together for this item stealing scam.

I was added on reddit on r/csgotrading and he told me that he would buy out my inventory for 285 dollars of eth. He added me on discord to make the process easier. His account name on discord was: He wanted to go with a middleman due to my csgo trading rep being so low. He showed me his profile on csgo rep: https://csgo-rep.com/profile/76561198307296845
He referred me to a reddit page that was part of the csgo middleman section. https://www.reddit.com/r/OfficialMiddlemanList/wiki/index
My dumb self did not realize that the members and the online people box was text and not referring to how many other people are not actually online. A middle man was called which is on the webpage itself: https://steamcommunity.com/id/OfficialMaksym/ and I was added into a group chat with both of them to discuss how the middle man process worked. He told me that he would send the bank transfer to him of 285 dollars and transfer it to ethereum. The middleman had both of our items and once my trade was sent to him, I was blocked immediately by the middleman and I was blocked by the trader himself and he also started to delete messages as well so he would not get caught.

Note: Screenshots were taken very fast as he was DELETING chat messages with me. The screenshot provided are the only screenshots that I had while trading with him.​
