What happened? Description:

This is the second time i got scammed in Team Fortress 2. This time once again my unusual hat and a few valuable items got scammed by a new method of scamming that i have never heard of, which is opskins scam. This type of scam bluffs the victim into creating a listing of the item that is targeted by the scammer, however by creating a listing it means that the victim is bluffed by receiving trade offers from the scammer claiming to be a trade offer required to create the listing.

The person mentioned above started to offer me overpay in pure keys for the unusual that i have. At first i didn't believe in this person, however the way he was speaking to me is very convincing. just before he "offered" the trade to me, he stated that i need to create a opskin account and list my item there so he can verify that my item is actually worth or valuable to trade ( the way he talks can be seen on the copy pasted chatlog). During the creation of my opskins account, the person voice called me that revealed a voice of an indian dialect boy that claimed to be from singapore. However it appears to be false, because i checked his steamid and it was stated that he was from indonesia which is the same country that i live in. He voice called me to give me instructions in setting up his scam by offering me a trade from a bot claiming to be from opskins.com. Because i am not really familiar to the site, i do not even know if such bots do exist. after offering that trade i accepted it, then he offered another trade offer however this time its an offer consisting of sever items that is valuable from my account claiming to be a withdrawal trade that is needed so i can get my unusual back (which is false). It can be seen very fishy in how the person picks the selected item, because he even chose items that are very specific and also it's strange the way he choosed the specialized ks iron bomber which does not worth that much on the market. However blinded by greed i accepted that trade. After i traded all of those items, he blocked me and left me hanging with an almost unvaluable backpack of tf2 items.

I realized that he took advantage of me because i haven't trade that much anymore and i have less knowledge about the opskins website that he stated. This type of trade is very convincing for, eventhough i myself is a veteran trader that has been scammed once for another unusual in the past.

This kind of scam needs to be stopped, and i even doubt that the person would be giving back my items back, because he did not directly give trade url to me and he was using multiple "bot account" to retrieve my items. And for my foolishnes i hope that this report will get reviewed as soon as possible. (don't be confused by his name, because there are multiple users named the same as him)​

The trade offer does not come directly from him to make it to be more convinced. screenshots of the trade and copy of the chat log can be found below. the reason why i was not able to get hold of the chat is because i abruptly exited the chat and my screen freezed (it can be seen below, low quality photo it is taken by my phone)​
