    Report Type: [Money] PayPal scam or scam attempt
    Virtual item type involved: [CSGO] Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Items

    Accused profile: 76561198307817757

    Victim profile: 76561198425845259

    What happened? Description:
    He contacted me about buying my knife through opskins.
    He asked me to send him my api key, which is used to let bots easily withdraw from your opskins inventory.
    Giving him my api key would let him withdraw my knife from my opskins inventory

    Note:
    I obviously didn't fall for this, however, I would like to report him for attempting to scam, so that future people who he contacts can be notified​

    (Edit) I am aware that you don't look into api key scams, I understand not investigating phishing links, however this method is becoming quite popular and I would advise that you look into these types of api key scams, as there isn't really any risk

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
