    What happened? Description:
    Told me to give him my OPSkins API code so he could buy my knife. Kept insisting he got this error "In connection with fraud attempts on our website, enter the apikey of your seller.To get your api key go to your profile settings -> Advanced Options -> tick the "I have read and agree to the API Terms of Use" -> then "Request API key" and copy it to the chat with your buyer." so naturally I checked the terms of use before doing anything where it specifically states "NEVER SHARE YOUR API KEY WITH ANYONE. YOUR API KEY GRANTS FULL, UNRESTRICTED ACCESS TO YOUR OPSKINS ACCOUNT." Unfortunately I was in class when this attempt started, so part of the chat is missing.​

    This includes anything to do with API key requests, wrong or misspelled URL's and sites requesting logins of any type in attempts to steal your credentials.
    These are phishing/hijacking attempts and are not to be reported to SteamRep!

    You can report the user to Valve instead
    In order to do that, you have to:
    1. Visit the accuseds profile
    2. Click MORE drop-down located at the top right of the page
    3. Choose REPORT VIOLATION
    4. Select the violation, then describe it and provide the evidence
    5. Click SUBMIT REPORT
