What happened? Description:

Typical impersonation of a user with a high end inventory.
The account he is impersonating is http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198333807843

Same name and a link leading to the impersonated users inventory.
Offering to overpay etc trying to bait users into accepting trades. He offered a karambit with 4x the value of my daggers....

He also has a secondary account from which he sent offers for these trades and is named opskins bot-they all say that they are opskins traders etc.

The scam is well known (personally I met and had at least 15 users with this as their method in the past 2 weeks...).

User adds you asks for trade wants to know if the items are marketable, wants to share screens to "guide" you trough the setup process on opskins where he then picks up the name and code from the Opskins bot that will trade you. He then from a account with the name opskins bot xxx (number) and verification he sees on your shared screen, sends you an offer nothing for your skins. This is how the bots do work but they are recognizable.

This is the fake bot. Easy to notice as it is not part of the official group for opskins bots.

He also kindly reminded me to not forget the phone authentication

The chat was way too long as I usually waste scammers time by pretending I do not know how to get my link or go to inventory etc...but after a day this is all I had from the chat. Unfortunately I didn't have the time yesterday to do a full chat log etc.​
